Expanding Our Perceptions

While it may seem that seeing ourselves from an individual perspective requires that we completely ignore the world around us, not only is this largely unrealistic but also unnecessary. But what we can do and must do is learn to distinguish our social selves and our inner selves. We must understand that maintaining positive/productive relationships in regards to our family, friends, employers/coworkers or the general public doesn’t mean we have to completely ignore/abandon our individual purpose, passions and principles.
